Welcome to

We’re here to provide a safe and supportive therapy space for children and young people to express themselves and grow.

Helping young people fit into the world the way they want to.

Hello, we are Chris and Heather!

At C&H Psychotherapies, we are a dedicated team of BABCP Accredited psychotherapists specialising in children and young people. With a combined wealth of 18 years experience in children and young people's mental health, we are passionate about providing a safe and welcoming space for young individuals to explore their emotions and navigate through life's challenges. With our expertise and compassionate approach, we strive to empower younger people on their journey towards mental and emotional well-being.

At C&H Psychotherapies, we specialise in providing child and youth-centred cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) that integrates multiple evidence-based approaches to address a wide range of emotional and behavioural difficulties.

We are adept at incorporating elements of Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) into CBT interventions to foster self-compassion, emotional regulation and resilience in children and young people. Additionally, we leverage techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help our young clients develop psychological flexibility and the ability to engage in values-based actions, despite psychological challenges. Moreover, our therapists are skilled in Attachment Focused Therapy, which emphasises nurturing secure attachment relationships between the child and caregivers, to promote emotional well-being and healthy development.

By integrating these approaches, we provide comprehensive and effective psychotherapy tailored to the unique needs of each child and young person.
